This policy explains what data the OFC Poker AI app ("the app", "we") collects, why, and your choices. The app is a simulated Open-Face Chinese (OFC) poker trainer and solver. It does not offer real-money gambling and does not let you deposit, wager, or win money.
In short: No account needed. Your game progress stays on your device. We use Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics to understand usage and fix crashes. Purchases go through Google Play Billing — we never see your payment details. We don't sell your data and the app has no third-party ads.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- In-app feedback. If you tap Settings → Send feedback, the app opens your email client with a message addressed to us. Sending it shares your email address and whatever you write (and, only if you explicitly choose to attach it, a diagnostics/crash-log file). Optional and initiated by you.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & analytics data (Google Firebase Analytics): app opens, screens viewed, and feature events such as solving a hand, completing a quiz, finishing a match, and starting or completing a purchase. We set non-identifying user properties such as Pro status, streak, and rating. Tied to an app-instance / analytics identifier, not your real-world identity.
- Crash & diagnostic data (Google Firebase Crashlytics): crash stack traces plus device and OS information (device model, OS version, app version) to fix problems.
- Approximate, aggregated device / region / language information as provided by the Firebase SDKs.
Information stored only on your device
- Game progress & settings: stats, streak, rating, accuracy, achievements, daily-challenge results, match/quiz history, preferences (haptics, notifications), and Pro entitlement flag — stored locally on your device. This stays on your device unless you uninstall the app (which deletes it) or send us a diagnostics file with feedback.
We do not collect contacts, photos, precise location, the device advertising ID for ads, or microphone/camera data.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases (Pro) are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled by Google under Google's privacy policy; we receive only confirmation of entitlement. We do not store payment information.
Notifications
With your permission, the app schedules local reminder notifications (streak / new-daily-challenge nudges) generated on your device. Turn them off any time in Settings → Daily reminders or in your device's system settings. The app does not send remote push notifications.
How we use data
- Operate and improve app features and difficulty.
- Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs.
- Understand which features are used to guide development.
- Verify Pro entitlements.
- Respond to feedback you send us.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

Data retention
- On-device data persists until you delete it (Settings → Reset progress) or uninstall the app.
- Firebase analytics and crash data are retained per Google Firebase's default retention settings.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app depicts simulated card play with no real-money gambling.
Your choices and rights
- Disable notifications in Settings or system settings.
- Reset local data via Settings → Reset progress, or remove everything by uninstalling.
- Request deletion or a copy of any data associated with you by emailing palash@techlift.in. Because the app has no login, identifying your records may require the analytics app-instance identifier where applicable.
- Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK, California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing; contact us to exercise them.
Security
We rely on platform protections (device sandboxing, Google Play, and Firebase transport encryption). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
